#TRENDING: Stuff you need to know today (10/16)

Insiders gave the same reason when asked “What caused Ariana Grande to leave Pete Davidson?”

The sudden death five weeks ago of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller shook Ari. A source said (quote) “It was devastating and shocking to her. It’s had a huge, negative impact. It made her rethink many things.” (People)

Afterward, Pete could never compete with the memory of Mac. She pulled the plug on the engagement and will give back Pete's $100,000 engagement ring. TMZ reports Ariana will keep her therapy piglet, Piggy Smallz.

However, a person at the American Mini Pig Association warned (quote) “Pigs are incredibly sensitive animals. Break ups can be devastating for someone like Piggy Smallz.” (The Blast)

The BIEBS: Not EMOTIONALLY OVER Selena Gomez?

Hailey Baldwin finds herself in a sticky situation while Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez play emotional ping-pong.

Hailey’s husband has been an emotional wreck since Selena entered psychiatric treatment for a severe panic attack. A source admitted to People magazine (quote) “He’s extremely upset over what has happened to Selena. This was his first great love. He is not over Selena.”

Those two broke up four years ago! Their first-love feelings still linger. Selena’s freak out was her rock bottom in a terrible month. A friend told People magazine (quote) “Selena can be a delicate flower because of constant medical struggles. Justin’s quick marriage threw her off guard and hit her hard.”

Meanwhile, Hailey Baldwin has tried to support Justin. They’ve dated off-and-on. This summer, Justin rushed to the courthouse “show her he was serious this time.” However, one of his buddies confessed (quote) “They way Justin reacts to Selena’s struggles could be a problem down the road in his marriage.”  UGH

Some other big names could also be signing on, including Kobe Bryant, Guillermo del Toro and Antoine Fuqua.
