Update: Miami Beach Police say a missing eleven-year-old girl has been found.
Yaylen Mir disappeared Tuesday when her father ran an errand and returned to his 38th Street home to find her gone. At 1:00 a.m., police say the girl sent a text message to her mother saying she was at a friend's house and that she was okay. According to police, Yaylen was failing at school and had just broken up with a boyfriend.
Police tweeted Wednesday morning that, "Thankfully, this child has been recovered."

Police in Miami Beach are looking for an 11 year old girl. Investigators say Yaylen Mir recently broke up with an unknown boyfriend and is failing in school.
She is described as Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes.
She's five-foot-two and weighs 100 pounds. She was last seen yesterday in the 200 block of 38th Street.
