"Live Like Bella" Has a New Home in Coral Gables

Talk about a gift! The Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation has reason to celebrate today:  they now have a partnership with the Bean Auto Group-- as they host a grand opening ceremony in Coral Gables, open to all.

The foundation has its first official office space, donated by insurance executive Pablo Cejas, something that means more than words can say for Bella's dad, Raymond Rodriguez-Torres- who lost her when she was 10 to Rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive cancer.

“To see so much courage in children, the children of our future, is truly inspiring,” says Bean Automotive Group Dealer Principal Lori Bean. “I am honored to be working with Live Like Bella to promote their well-being.” The agreement makes Bean the prime sponsor of Bella’s annual events, including the fifth annual Bella’s Ball in September, the Live Like Bella Superhero 5K in February of 2019, and an array of events throughout the year supporting children battling cancer.

As part of the partnership, the Bean Automotive company has taken the additional step of placing four large treasure chests – one at each dealership – to serve as collection points for gift cards from associates, customers and the public. The gift cards will help families dealing with illness to offset the costs of groceries, gas, and even parking, and will last through the month of April.
