Doctors Warn Of Possible Yellow Fever Outbreak

posted by Nathalie Rodriguez -

Doctors are worried a yellow fever outbreak that has killed hundreds in Brazil could spread here.  Just like the Zika outbreak from two years ago, yellow fever is spread by mosquitoes, but yellow fever is deadlier.

University of Miami health expert Justin Stoler believes yellow fever will spread to South Florida, but he recently told the "Sun Sentinel" efforts to keep the mosquito population in check should stop the disease from spreading like it has in Brazil.
