(Broward County, FL) -- An effort to continue the momentum of the "March for Our Lives" rallies begins in South Florida today. Students and alumni from Stoneman Douglas High School, other local student leaders, and elected officials will gather in Coral Springs to unveil an initiative called "17 For Change."
According to a Broward County news release, the new organization is "dedicated to taking on the influential and long-established gun lobby."
17 For Change plans to advocate for sensible gun laws and identify and track the votes of elected officials who support and oppose change.
