(Washington, DC) -- First lady Melania Trump is in Florida after skipping the trip with President Trump to Davos, Switzerland. The first lady arrived in West Palm Beach unexpectedly yesterday after visiting the Holocaust museum in Washington, DC.
She was scheduled to accompany President Trump to the World Economic Forum in Davos this week and it's unclear why she instead made the trip to Florida. The White House said her trip was cancelled last minute because of scheduling and logistics issues.
Her trip to Florida comes amid reports that the president had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels over a decade ago not long after Melania gave birth to the couple's son.
The "Wall Street Journal" first reported that Daniels received 130-thousand dollars from Trump's lawyer as part of a non-disclosure agreement to cover up the affair.
Trump has denied the allegations.
