(Mexico City) -- A woman from South Florida and her grandson may be among at least 12 people killed in the crash of a tour bus crash in eastern Mexico.
The "Sun Sentinel" reports that a family member says that 78-year-old Fanya Shamis of Coconut Creek was killed and her eleven-year-old grandson may have also died. The bus was carrying passengers from Royal Caribbean Cruise ships sailing out of Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
They were headed to a tour of Mayan ruins when the bus flipped over on a highway early yesterday.
