Security for today's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City will be the tightest security ever seen. Police say they'll have blocker cars and sand-filled dump trucks at every intersection.
Police officers will be patrolling each block along the parade route, along with heavily armed counterterrorism units and K-9 units.
People sitting along the parade route should expect to have their bags checked.
More than three-million people are expected to watch the parade, which begins at 9 a.m. Eastern time.
