Post-Irma Food Assistance Is Back in South Florida

posted by Nathalie Rodriguez -

The Food for Florida program is back in South Florida for one final week.

The program provides assistance to residents who suffered losses after Hurricane Irma who are not currently on Food Stamps. Due to massive lines and an overwhelming turnout last month, officials are requiring everyone to come based on their last name.

TODAY IT'S FOR PEOPLE WITH THE LAST NAMES A-F.

The hours of assistance are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m starting today and continuing through Thursday.
