Florida's next sales tax holiday is coming up the weekend after next, but a new study says such events are nothing more than a political gimmick. Scott Drenkard with the Tax Foundation says the brief holidays allow politicians to boast about cutting taxes while they ignore any real reforms. And Drenkard says Florida is one of only 16 states that still use them.
