Pope Francis is set to canonize two of the three Fatima visionaries tomorrow in Portugal. Both Francisco and Fatima Marto died within two years of their 1917 vision of the Virgin Mary.
Francisco died at age eleven, while Jacinta died a year later at ten, both victims of the Spanish flu pandemic.
In 2000 when they were beatified by Pope John Paul the Second he said of Jacinta that she had "heroically" offered herself as a victim for the "conversion of sinners."
The two will become the Catholic Church's youngest saints who were not martyrs.
Pope Francis will visit the site of their vision tomorrow.
