The last of the famed so-called "Cocaine Cowboys" is arrested in Orlando.
U.S. marshals arrested Gustavo Falcon last night and booked him into the Orange County Jail after 26 years on the run. He was indicted in 1991 for allegedly helping his kingpin brother, Willie Falcon, smuggle more than two-billion-dollars worth of cocaine into the US between 1978 and 1991, but disappeared from federal custody until yesterday.
Gustavo Falcon will make his first appearance in Orlando federal court today before he is moved to Miami.
His brother Willie, sentenced to prison in 2003, is expected to be released in June.
