A Precautionary Boil-Water Notice is in effect for North Miami Beach and areas the city services.
Those areas include Miami Gardens, Sunny Isles Beach, Golden Beach and Haulover Beach. The order was issued because water pressure dropped during a power outage at the Norwood Water Treatment Plant.
Until at least tomorrow, water to be used for cooking, drinking, washing dishes or brushing teeth should be boiled for one minute to remove potential contaminants.
