SpaceX is celebrating after its Dragon capsule was successfully captured by the International Space Station this morning. Dragon is carrying tons of supplies and had been scheduled to rendezvous with the ISS yesterday but that attempt had to be aborted.
The capsule was blasted into space Sunday on a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA's Launch Complex 39A at Cape Canaveral. The historic launchpad is where astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin began their mission to the moon aboard Apollo 11 in July of 1969.
