American Airlines is not flying to or from Philadelphia International Airport right now.
A computer problem grounded flights out of Philadelphia around 4 a.m. Eastern Time. The airline's computers were supposed to come back online at 4 after a planned Internet shutdown, but they didn't. American had to check in bags manually and lines at baggage counters backed up.
At 6 a.m. Eastern Time, the F.A.A. issued a ground stop for all American Airlines flights bound for Philadelphia.
There's no word yet on when American's flights will be traveling in or out of Philadelphia again.
