A Massachusetts teenager was inspired to do an act of kindness for health care workers in her community. Anika Sukthankar noticed people were delivering meals to local hospitals, but no one was looking out for those working at the COVID-19 testing tents. So the 15-year-old decided to take care of them.
Anika started reaching out to community members, friends, and family to ask for donations and raises money to buy meals for those health care workers at the testing tents. She also delivers the meals to them herself and she’s been at it since March.
“My parents have always taught me since I was little to always do your part to help,” she says, “whether it’s big or small.”
