A Florida woman has been arrested after she showed up at a Lake County Publix grocery store waving a pitchfork and black whip while attempting to sell teddy bears outside of the store.

Things got wild Tuesday (7/19/22) in Lake County, when, according to an arrest affidavit, the manager of the Publix store told deputies that 56-year-old Lisa Anne Slone was attempting to sell teddy bears behind the store in earlier that day.

The report also said the manager told Florida Highway Patrol troopers that the woman used the pitchfork to stab a minivan.

When troopers ordered Slone to stop, she refused to put her weapon down, but walked away. After she was arrested and placed into the patrol car, Slone unbuckled her seatbelt and began to kick the window, according to the report.

FHP says Slone appeared to be intoxicated on a stimulant drug, however they did not have detect the smell of alcohol on her. Slone was covered in scrapes and bruises, but when officials asked her about them, she said she “felt no pain anymore and that God was in control,” the report said.

Slone is is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held in the Orange Lake County Jail.
