It is almost the 4th of July when we celebrate America's independence. It's a holiday where many will gather with friends and family and celebrate by hosting a BBQ, maybe a beach day, or participating in a bar hop, but is where you're celebrating the most patriotic state in America?

Annually, WalletHub.com does a ranking of the most patriotic states in America based on 13 key indicators of patriotism including how many of us volunteer, how many people enlist in the armed forces, and how many veterans live there.

For the 3rd year in a row, Alaska appears in the top 3 of the most patriotic states in the U.S., although there's been a reshuffling at the top as Montana was #1 last year, and in 2020, New Hampshire reigned first.

According to the study, Alaska has the most veterans, and congratulations to Utah, South Dakota, and Nebraska who had the most volunteers.
