Simone Biles exited the women's gymnastics team finals with the team's medical trainer following her. The Americans will be forced to finish the rest of the competition without her, severely hampering their bid to claim a third straight Olympic title.
According to the official scoreboard as of now, Biles is being rested for the other three apparatuses. NBC announced during the broadcast that Biles had pulled out of the rest of the finals.
According to sources she suffered an injury.
