I remember back in the 90’s when you couldn’t turn on the radio without hearing “Friends In Low Places!” Garth Brooks got emotional during an appearance on motivational speaker Inky Johnson’s Serendipity Podcast. When asked about the most rewarding part of his career Brooks couldn’t help but shed a tear.

“It’s what it does for other people… I’m stunned. It’s letters, posts, all these things you know, it’s ‘I had the gun in my mouth, then I heard ‘The Dance,’ said Brooks.

If you remember not too long ago Kelly Clarkson had Garth on her show and she said his music really helped her get through her divorce. They even took some time to perform together.
