Congratulations to Spanish Lake Elementary teacher, Teresa Murphy! She’s been teaching for 27 years and during the pandemic, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Murphy taught right through the chemotherapy and radiation. She used Snapchat filters and Zoom backgrounds to hide the sights and sounds of her treatment.
Thank you to all the amazing teachers out there! We can’t thank you enough for all you do especially during this difficult time.
