On the 19th anniversary of famed singer Aaliyah's death, her estate & official social media accounts revealed that talks are currently happening with labels and streaming services regarding her catalogue of music! Could we be seeing the music pop up on services like iHeartRadio soon?
Well, according to the tweet from the estate, we know that they're having these talks with the record labels to determine that availability. And they specifically said the "near future" so that's a good sign!
As it's been pointed out by a few people, this could also expand into other exciting reveals and releases. For example, what if the music catalogue includes some unreleased tracks? Does this mean we could be getting a new Aaliyah album in the 2020s?
