Justin Timberlake on dodging bottles of urine on stage w/The Rolling Stones

The thing about success is that it always looks shiny and bright once it's been achieved. The actual road traveled doesn't usually get the spotlight!

Justin Timberlake shared an example of that in a recent interview on The Graham Norton Show saying he had bottles or urine thrown at him as he performed back in 2003. He sang with The Rolling Stones to raise money for SARS recovery in Toronto, Canada.

“I remember saying to the band before we went on stage, ‘I don’t think this is going to go well,’" Timberlake shared with the show host. “But little did I know, I had no idea how bad it was going to go.”

He went on to explain that the audience was not only hostile but prepared.

“We came on stage and all of a sudden from the first two rows of probably, I think this festival housed half a million people, so that was crazy,” he explained. “But all of a sudden, bottles of urine were then thrown on the stage... It wasn’t always good times for me, you guys.”

Watch the interview below, and remember, of your path to growth sucks right now, Justin got pee on him and didn't give up! Don't give up! Hopefully your path doesn't have stranger pee though.... Just saying.
