Parents, Here's What You Need to Know About the "Momo Challenge"

A California family could be dead today because of the Momo challenge. The popular what’s up challenge has resurfaced and now it seems to be interrupting children’s YouTube videos.

The creepy doll pops up during the videos and encourages children to take part in a variety of acts, some of which include self harm, if they want to avoid being cursed. The game ends with Momo telling the child or participant to take his or her own life and to record it for social media.

Police are warning parents to be very careful with what their children are watching and who their children are messaging on WhatsApp.

If you see the Momo challenge pop up anywhere you should report it. As of right now no one knows where the challenge originated or who is behind it.
