Your Health Insurance As About To Cost You More

Employer health care plans are expected to continue rising next year. A new survey says workers can expect to pay more of the costs of their coverage in the form of higher premiums and higher deductibles.

The survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation says annual family premiums rose five-percent in 2018, with workers contributing over five-thousand dollars of the cost.

The survey says health care premiums are also taking up more of employees' paychecks, and that since 2008, average family premiums have risen twice as fast workers' earnings and three times as fast as inflation.

Deductibles have also grown, with the average single deductible being slightly higher than last year.
