It seems the rumors had some truth to them after all. Talk about taking a little bit of sunshine way from our summer! Former One Direction member Liam Payne and English singer Cheryl took to Twitter to let their fans know they're "going [their] separate ways." The two ex-love birds met on set of X Factor U.K. in 2008. Cheryl was a judge and Liam was a contestant and their time on the show led them to take their relationship public in 2015.
The tweet was almost identical which leads me to think it could have been put together by a PR team more so than by them. Hey, I probably wouldn't wanna tweet about my own break up either so I get it. Heck, I wish a team to break up with people for me, but that's a topic for another time.
