Parents: '13 Reasons Why' Season 2 Trailer is Out!

I watched season one of '13 Reasons Why' in one weekend. The show is gripping and well written. The acting is great. The cinematography is captivating. But as soon as I finished watching I had to share with all my followers the 4 reasons why 13 Reasons Why was no Good for teens.

Soon after, the show went viral and experts were all over the news talking about the dangers of the show glamorizing suicide for teenage audiences and how important it was for parents who allowed their children to watch the show to supervise the process and have open conversations about the very sensitive topics addressed like rape, bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, and -of course- suicide.

I was so impacted by the show that I partnered up with mental health experts to offer free workshops for parents (in Spanish and in English) on Teen Suicide Prevention at my dance studio.

Now the show is back for season two and I have anxiety. Here's the trailer.

Parents, did your teen watch season one? Is your teen allowed to watch season two? Am I over-stressing the possible impact of this show? Should I offer the suicide prevention workshops again? Is that something you'd attend? Have you talked to your child about this show?

I have sooooo many questions and concerns about this.

Ok. I'm done ranting now.
