Fort Lauderdale Police Search For Puppy Snatched Right From Owner's Arms

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is looking for a couple of thieves who stole a dog from a woman off the street.

Authorities say the suspects approached a female victim at around 10 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of N.W. First Ave.

The suspects allegedly asked the woman, who was walking her French bulldog, if they could have the puppy. When the victim said no, the suspects allegedly grabbed the dog out of her arms and left the area in an unknown direction/

The suspects are described as:

  • A black male, approx. 18-25 years old, 5'10" and 165 pounds with low cut hair
  • A black female, approx. 18-20 years old, 5'6" and 135 pounds with long, black hair
